Kimberly Sterling is an Operations Vice President for State Farm® Mutual Automobile Insurance Companies with responsibility in Property & Casualty Claims. Her role includes responsibility for Total Loss and Salvage, Operational Excellence, Claims Training, Talent Development, Forecasting & Scheduling, Change Adoption, and Business Continuity Management.
Kimberly joined State Farm in 1993 and has served in a variety of leadership and executive roles. Prior to claims, she was as an Operations Vice President in Property & Casualty Underwriting leading Personal Lines Auto/Fire Production, Contact Centers, and Operations Excellence – leveraging technology, lean principles, and quality processes to enhance value to State Farm customers.
She received a Bachelor's Degree in French from Illinois Wesleyan University and an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
She has earned the designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Six Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University.
In her free time, Kimberly stays actively engaged in community service and enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, skiing and travelling.
