Mark Hughes

Mark Hughes is DXC Technology’s senior vice president of offerings and strategic partners. He is responsible for DXC’s technology strategy and driving innovation and growth in DXC’s core offerings. Mr. Hughes is also responsible for relationships with DXC’s ecosystem partners, which include industry leaders in cloud, enterprise applications and software, networking and hardware. His oversight of DXC’s technology strategy, offerings and partners ensures that the company is bringing the best solutions across the enterprise technology stack to meet the needs of its customers. Previously, Mr. Hughes led DXC's security organization and offerings.

Mr. Hughes joined DXC Technology from BT, a world-leading global telecommunications provider, where he most recently served as chief executive of BT Security. He joined BT in 2002 and held a variety of senior appointments, including key government customer-facing roles. In 2013 Mr. Hughes led the formation of BT Security, which has become a global leader with 3,000 cybersecurity experts across 15 security operation centers globally and double-digit annual revenue growth.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Hughes was the commercial director at MWB Business Exchange. He began his career in the British Army.

Mr. Hughes has served on national boards, including the Cyber Growth Partnership for the United Kingdom, and he currently is a member of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Global Cybersecurity Board.

Awarded a BS with honors by the University of Leicester, Mr. Hughes trained at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and the Junior Division of Staff College. He was awarded military advanced certificates in French and German from the University of Westminster.
